The bus pulled into another empty lot, it’s brakes squealing to a halt under a dim streetlight. A lone figure entered the bus and handed the driver the ticket. The driver, an overweight an chronically depressed man wearing a baggy blue t-shirt and loose sweatpants, took the ticket and examined the passenger. Standing in front of him, holding only a worn backpack on his shoulder, was a young boy with short brown hair, grey eyes hidden behind glasses, and a superior grin. His gaze was fixed on a sleeping boy in the back of the bus.

The boy marched down the rows of seats filled with tired-looking people with paperback books and cantines of coffee, to the back. He sat down next to the sleeping blonde haired boy, and dropped his backpack on the floor with a loud thud. The woman in the seat next to him jumped in her sleep, but the other boy stayed silent and continued to snore lightly. He unzipped his bag and pulled a very high-tech laptop out. It made a quiet beep when he pushed the ON button, and the screen lit up. After waiting a few moments for it to boot-up, a chart popped up. The boy entered his name and password, then turned to face the sleeping boy.

“You thought you could get away, didn’t you?” he whispered, faced his computer to type in a command, then grinned at him again. “Well, I found you, and this time you’re not going to be able to get away.” he pulled a cord out of his bag and plugged it into the laptop. He then lifted the sleeping boy’s long blonde hair and plugged it into a strange slot on the back of his neck. The sleeping boy didn’t move. He turned back to his laptop and entered in a few more commands, then moved his cursor to the GO button, and clicked. A wait signal popped up, then the sleeping boy gasped and jumped up. “Adam! What are you doing here?” He yelled, and flattened himself against the side of the bus.
Adam smiled lightly and looked down at his laptop.
He said while typing, “Just getting back my property. I’m not very pleased about that escape you pulled.”
“How did you find me?”
“It was very simple, robot...”
“Timothy!”
“Sure, whatever. It was very simple. I had hired many people to search the area for you, but a worker coming home happened to see you at the bus stop. He called me on his cellphone and told me that you were heading this way. So I got somebody to drive me here as fast as possible, and here I am.”
Timothy moaned.
“And at the next stop, we’re getting off. I have somebody waiting for us there right now.”
Timothy shook his head, but sat down. “What was that jolt and this cord for?”
“It connects you to my laptop. I’ll always be able to know where you are now.”
“Wonderful. What happens when I pull the cord out?” Timothy asked, and without waiting for a reply, he yanked it out.
“That wasn’t smart.”
“Why no-“ Timothy collapsed against Adam’s shoulder, his eyes staring blankly forward. “Because it was sending information from you to my computer still. It’s slightly like, to put it into terms you would understand, pulling the game out of a Gameboy while it was saving your progress. You’re going to have one heck of a headache.”
Timothy nodded slightly, then closed his eyes in pain.
Adam carelessly pushed him over so he leaned against the wall instead of his arm.

An hour later, the bus pulled up into yet another empty lot. Adam picked up Timothy, who had fallen asleep, and carried him out to the Rolls Royce parked on the side of the lot. A man hurriedly got out of the drivers seat and opened the back door for him. Adam sat Timothy down and then got into the front passengers chair. The driver got back into his place and pulled out onto the road.

It was nearly morning by the time they arrived at the RobotsRule! HQ. As soon as the car was parked, Adam got out and commanded the security guards to bring the sleeping robot up to his lab. They complied immediately, roughly carrying him behind Adam, who was barking orders in his cellphone. Soon enough, they were met by three scientists, one of them Dr. Cheldow, the woman scientist from Timothy’s first day at RobotsRule! She watched Timothy sympathetically as the security guards dropped him on a hospital bed. Timothy opened his eyes, which were slightly less dulled from pain, the effects were starting to go away.
“Where am I?” He asked quietly.
Adam pulled up a chair next to the bed, the scientists followed suite.
“You can go now.” Adam said to the guards, who all nodded and left.
“Now, Timothy... don’t you recognize this place? You’re back home!”
Timothy frowned, then shook his head.
“No, this isn’t my home. This will never be my home!” he exclaimed and jumped off the bed. He looked for an exit, then spotted a door in the far back corner. He dashed for it. “You idiots! Get him, we can’t have another escape!” Adam shouted.
The scientists all lunged for him, but he slipped away. With his hand on the doorknob, he announced,
“I’m out of here, and this time you won’t be able to get me back! I’ll find a way so you can’t track me!” He twisted the knob, and flung it open to find himself face-to-face with no other than Dr. Doctor.
The doctor grinned and exclaimed, “Why hello little Timmy! You’re coming with me!” he reached out to grab Timothy, but fell to the floor when he was tripped by a pair of obnoxiously tall high heels.
“Now now, that’s no way to make a dramatic entrance!” Said a tall blonde woman, who pulled out a remote control and pressed a button.
The world around Timothy exploded.
