The first thing Timothy saw when he opened his eyes was a very white ceiling. He sat up and jumped. Every scientist from the parking lot was there, and then some. They were silently sitting on metal folding chairs that circled his bed. The walls were also white and had no pictures, and the floor was white linoleum. The scientists took no note that he was awake, they just continued writing.
“Um, where am I?” He asked, but they said nothing.
Timothy slid off of the bed that was situated in the middle of the room and looked around for a door.
The scientists silently watched him, but made no move to stop him. Timothy didn’t see a door, or any windows.
“How do you get out of here?” He asked one scientist, who glanced up quickly, but returned her focus to her notepad. Timothy frowned in frustration, and sat down on the floor. The scientists all had to lean forward to see him fully.

“So...” Timothy sighed, “When are you guys gonna do something interesting?”. The scientists said nothing, but most of them had stopped writing a few minutes ago, they were just watching him. Timothy was growing very frustrated, and screamed “Let me out of this room! I have been in here way to long!”. The lady scientist he had talked to earlier laughed quietly and said “You’re going to have to get used to this. It’s going to happen often.” She said, then clapped her hand over her mouth. The other scientists glared at her as she picked up her notebook and stepped outside of the circle of chairs. She walked over to the wall and knocked on it twice. A part of the wall slid open, and she went through, hanging her head. The wall remained open for a few seconds longer, so Timothy took the opportunity for escape. He jumped up, knocked over the empty chair the lady was in earlier, and ran through the opening.

Through the wall was a hallway. The carpet was worn and brown, and the walls were wood paneling. “Hey kid! What are you doing here?” A man dressed in a navy blue uniform yelled. Timothy didn’t answer, but continued running. The man ran after him, but Timothy was faster. He soon lost the man, and kept running.

Timothy soon reached a part of the hall where two other hallways intersected. He stopped and looked cautiously down them. They were also empty, except for a few doors. He turned left and started walking. He had walked about three feet when a hand grabbed his shoulder and pulled him into a room.
